Changelog for the MapsIndoors Android SDK. This document structure is based on Keep a Changelog and the project adheres to Semantic Versioning.

Added

• Support for runtime (indoor tiles) map-style switching. Related methods added:
  • Venue.getMapStyles(): Gets a list of available map styles. Note that all venues share the map styles
  • Venue.getDefaultMapStyle(): Gets the default map style used by the SDK
  • Venue.isMapStyleValid( MapStyle ): Checks the validity of the given map style
  • MapControl.getMapStyles(): Gets a list of available map styles. Note that all venues share the map styles
  • MapControl.getMapStyle(): Gets the current map style set with MapControl.setMapStyle( MapStyle )
  • MapControl.setMapStyle( MapStyle ): Sets the given map style as the current one. It can be invoked before or after MapControl.init()

• Updated the network layer so in case of network errors, will serve cached data when/where possible

• MapControl.setDisplayRuleDefaultIconSize(): Overwrites the display rules default icon size. Applies only to those display rules that don't specify the size.
• LocationDisplayRule.Builder.setVectorDrawableIcon( vectorDrawableResId ): Sets the icon using a VectorDrawable at the default size (either the current base - 20dp or the one set with MapControl.setDisplayRuleDefaultIconSize())

• DisplayRule fields are now public for internal reasons. To read their values, please use the provided getters.

• Mapcontrol.setGoogleMap( GoogleMap, View ): Sets the GoogleMap object and its parent view. Use it along the basic constructor (MapControl( Context ))

Changed

• MapControl.selectFloor(): added validation of the given parameter (floor Z index). It will now throw IllegalArgumentException (if dbglog.useDebug( true )) if an invalid floor Z index was used.

Fixed

• MapControl.displaySearchResults() did show all POIs on the current floor shown regardless their own
• MapsPeople watermark not keeping the same padding on both portrait and landscape modes

• LocationDisplayRule.Builder.setIconURL( iconURL ) is now an "internal" method and should not be used. Please use any of the other ways to set display rule icon

• Point.equals() will return true if the distance between them is less than 1m. It also takes into account its Z value (altitude)
